Iraqi Christians erect large cross in the city of Telekuf

Hope has once again returned to the city of Telekuf. After more than two and a half years of being occupied by Daesh, the Christians have erected a large cross, which was blessed by Chaldean Patriarch, Louis Sako.

In the words of the Patriarch, the liberation of this city near Mosul is “the first spark of light shining in all the cities of the Nineveh Plain since the darkness of ISIS, which lasted almost two and a half years.”
