Is true dialogue between religions possible?

In recent days, the University of Al-Azhar has hosted a conference in Cairo, Egypt on “Freedom and citizenship, differences and integration.” There was a large representation from all the religions currently present in the Arab countries, including not only the highest Sunni and Shi’a authorities, but also representatives of Christian churches in the Middle East like the Chaldean Patriarch, Louis Sako Raphael, and the Lutheran bishop of Jerusalem, Mounib Younan. The atmosphere of inclusion and dialogue transmitted strong messages of integration (Christians are an active part of society).
