An 87 mile March for Peace
This past Palm Sunday, 100 people, both Christians and Muslim, started a March for Peace in Iraq. It began from the city of Erbil and will end in Alqosh on Easter. It is expected to gain more than 500 people along the way before they arrive at Algosh. The initiative was born thanks to German organizations, and it has been fully supported by the Chaldean Patriarchy. In fact, the Chaldean Church’s main objective with this initiative is to promote reconciliation during Holy Week.
