How do Christians live in the Niniveh plain?

Yohanna Towaya lived in Qaraqosh, Sulaka in Batnaya, and Bishop Yousif Ibrahim presides over the “earliest monastery in Iraq.” These are some of the testimonies highlighted by the the journalist Fernando de Haro in the second Niniveh Plain report. He has met many Christians that were forced to leave their houses and their land because of persecution, which still remains unknown by the world. Nevertheless, in his eyes there is a light of hope being transmitted, and misery being transformed by rebirth.
