Oula and Philip, from Aleppo, Syria, are engaged and want to get married. They have suffered the tragedy of war, like many of their friends and acquaintances.
Oula works in a school and studied English literature, while Philip sells DVDs at a local store. They want to marry and celebrate their wedding in Aleppo, their city. However, there is a probem: each of them only earn $50 a month; yet they would like to invite their friends to their wedding party, to share in such an important day.
