Providing food for orphans in school, training young people by teaching them a trade and offering assistance to those who need it most. This is the triple objective of the bakery established by the Salesians of Belén in 1891.
For more than 125 years, the bakery’s products have helped hundreds of needy families. Specifically in 2002, during the second Intifada, the oven served free bread to area families who were forced into poverty.
