Don’t forget eastern Christians. That’s the message Anne De Ladoucette and Marie Laffly want to send. Since 2015, they have been selling Christmas figures to help the Catholics of Mosul, a campaign that has gained the support of many French bishops.
The figures were made by Fray Marie-Bernard, a Dominican from Toulouse, who began making them for his abbey’s chapel. Proceeds from sales will be put toward projects in areas affected most in Syria and Iraq.
