New year, new opportunity for interreligious dialogue

Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Sikh religious leaders are meeting in Lahore (Pakistan) to pray for peace together and ask for coexistence in society, in light of situations of violence and terrorism. These encounters have been promoted by the Catholic Bishops´ Conference of Pakistan and the National Commission for Inter-religious Dialogue.

It has also reaffirmed that the Christians of Pakistan are an integral part of the nation, as they´ve made honest and dedicated contributions, committing themselves to the building of a society free of violence and always searching for paths to dialogue, peace, justice and coexistence.
