The second-hand boutique that helps refugees

In Amman, a second-hand boutique has been opened to support Iraqi refugees and restore dignity to those who have fled ISIS and live in Jordan. It seeks to help them recover from the heavy trauma they have suffered, and return them to their normal way of life as soon as possible.

Clothes are free for refugees, in exchange for coupons. Each coupon contains a certain value, depending on each family’s situation. These “transactions” offer a feeling of security and a way to integrate each person as a member of the community.
