Ancient Christian ruins discovered after recovering ISIS territories

In the city of Manbij (Syria), an ancient Christian shelter has been discovered from the third or fourth century, when Christians were persecuted by the Roman Empire.

After ISIS was pushed out of the city, the archaeologists who discovered the shelter and secretly maintained it during the occupation have gone back to examine the site and all the Christian elements found there, such as crosses or Greek inscriptions.
