The voice of persecuted Christians resounds in European parliaments

More than 245 million Christians suffer in some way persecution because of their faith, being a situation that is increasing with the passage of recent years.

Some European countries have begun to create working groups in their national parliaments, such as Italy in defense of religious freedom, and denounce the situation of Christians in the Middle East.

Also noteworthy is the case of the French National Assembly, or the position adopted by the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where the initiative was impelled after the speech of Pope Francisco in November 2014, which manifested itself against silence on this situation.
