The Almudena Cathedral is hosting a vigil with testimonies from persecuted Christians

This evening at 8 p.m. a vigil will take place in the Cathedral of Madrid. It is a part of another edition of the “Night of the witnesses.” It is a prayer vigil for persecuted Christians, organized by Aid to the Church in Need.

During the vigil, testimonies will be heard from Christians in countries where they are persecuted, such as Iraq, China, Central African Republic, India, among others. Martyrs who have died for their faith will also be remembered. Hakuna Group Music will be performing for this event.

This vigil event is an initiative born in France and was first celebrated in Paris in the Cathedral of Notre Dame.
