Pope prays for Christians who have to hide

For the first time in his life, Pope Francis entered a catacomb. He celebrated Mass for the feast of All Souls in the Catacombs of Priscilla, where he prayed for the Christians who had to hide and bury their dead in this hidden chamber.

During his homily, he also focused on Christians who are still in hiding today. In many countries, being a Christian is a crime, where those people have no rights. The pope concluded by remembering that Christians who care for their brothers and sisters in faith, live with security in God’s hands.
