London shrine opens to honor persecuted Christians

London has opened a shrine with 10 objects, displaying the persecution of Christians by extremists in Iraq. These items, including beat-up chalices, crucifixes, and a statue, are from churches that were torched and demolished during ISIS’ occupation in Iraq.
The shrine is an appeal to stand with persecuted brothers and sisters, and show hope through Jesus. This display is temporarily in London thanks to the help of Aid to the Church in Need, which is borrowing the items from Iraq’s Chaldean Archdiocese of Erbil.
